Is it really free?

Yes, the Free (Basic) plan is completely free. It is funded by tasteful, unobtrusive ads in the admin panel. There are no hidden fees, and you never need to cancel because we will never charge you for the basic plan.

Includes: Reservation management, rooms, data export, admin panel and mobile app (coming soon).

Not included: The digital check-in module (submission to the Spanish Ministry of the Interior), which is always priced at €2/month.

You never need to enter a credit card for the basic plan—no tricks or fine print.

Is it free forever?

The Basic plan is designed to be free of monthly charges for users who register during the launch phase, subject to the terms of service and keeping the account active.

As long as your account stays active, we will not charge a monthly fee for the basic plan. It is funded by discreet ads in the panel.

Important: Features included in the plan may evolve with the product, but we will always keep a free plan with no monthly fee.

Do I need a card?

No, you do not need a credit card for the Free (Basic) plan.

You can sign up and use the basic plan without providing any payment method. The plan is ad-funded.

You only need a payment method if you subscribe to the Check-in plan (€2/month) for digital check-in and Ministry submission.

Can free-plan features change?

Yes, features in each plan may evolve with the product.

Delfín Check-in may change what is included in each plan, while always maintaining a free plan with no monthly fee.

If you are among the first registered users, you keep permanent access to the basic plan at no monthly charge, even if specific features change over time.

We will notify you in advance of any significant change to plan features.

What if you launch new plans later?

If you registered early, you keep permanent access to the Free (Basic) plan with no monthly fee.

Future plans or features will not take away your basic access. You can keep using the basic plan for free and optionally add paid plans.

The Check-in plan (€2/month) and any future plans remain optional. Your basic access stays free of monthly charges.

How does the digital check-in module work?

The digital check-in module lets guests complete their details before arrival and automatically submits records to the Spanish Ministry of the Interior under current rules (RD 933/2021).

This module always costs €2 per month, with no exceptions. It includes:
• Digital check-in form for guests
• Automatic submission to the Ministry of the Interior
• Compliance-focused workflow
• No ads in the panel
• Priority support

How does online check-in work?

Copy the link from the “Registrations” or “Forms” section of your dashboard and send it to guests. You can add it to Airbnb or Booking message templates so guests receive it automatically when a booking is made. You only confirm receipt and then send your check-in instructions and house rules. In Standard/Pro you can automate the email (with open tracking).

The traveller completes their data, uploads documents and signs if needed, in their own language. On arrival, you mainly verify identity and hand over keys.

Can I export data for my accountant and tax return?

Yes. You can download a single CSV/Excel file with revenue, fees and occupancy filtered by date range or tax year. The system includes full reservation and room management at no charge on the free tier.

How does traveller registration work?

Traveller registration with automatic Ministry submission is available on the Check-in plan (from €2/month). There you can confirm that the guest has completed the data and that both the Traveller Report (PV) and Lodging Reservation (RH) have been sent to the Spanish Ministry of the Interior—required for short-stay accommodation in Spain (RD 933/2021).

What languages does the system support?

The panel and management experience are available in six languages: Spanish, French, English, Italian, Portuguese and Finnish. The guest check-in form is also translated so travellers can complete their details in their language.

What is included in the digital check-in module?

The module lets guests complete information before arrival and automatically submits records to the Spanish Ministry of the Interior under RD 933/2021.

It always costs €2/month, with no exceptions, and is available on the Check-in plan. It includes:

How secure is my guests’ data?

We comply with GDPR and Spanish data-protection law. Data is stored on secure EU servers with encryption in transit and at rest. We run daily backups and use security practices including two-factor authentication options and 24/7 monitoring.

Can I customise the check-in form?

No—the form is not customisable, but it is complete for regulatory requirements. If you need something else or something is unclear, email contacto@delfincheckin.com and we will help.

Can I export my data?

Yes. You can export everything to CSV/Excel for accounting, tax or any other use. Export is always available without extra limits.

What if I have no internet? 📶

The system works offline: guests can complete check-in without a connection and data syncs automatically when connectivity returns. Information is stored locally so nothing is lost.

Is there a limit on guests or reservations?

There is no cap on guests, reservations or queries. Plans are based on the number of properties, not transaction volume. You can run a small apartment or a large hotel-style operation with the same features.

When will the check-in module be available?

As soon as the free system launches you will be able to subscribe to this module as well. We will email you when it is ready so you can start immediately.

Can I try the system?

We are in pre-launch. Register with your email and we will notify you when it is ready. Early users get permanent access to the Free (Basic) plan with no monthly fee.

The digital check-in module (Ministry submission) always costs €2/month, even for early users.

What support is included?

We provide email support. We aim to reply within 24–48 hours. We are here to help with any question or issue.

Do you have a referral programme?

Yes. We have a Referral programme for property owners. As an early user, you will be able to share your unique referral link from your admin panel once we launch.

Your referrals count even if they start on the Free Basic plan (1 property included; each extra property is €2/month). If they activate a paid plan (e.g. Check-in €2/month), you earn more.

Rewards are applied as time credits deducted automatically before any monthly charge. More about referrals

How do I get my referral link?

If you are an owner using Delfín Check-in, you will see your unique referral link in the “Referrals” section of your admin panel once we launch. You can then share it with other owners so their sign-up is automatically linked to you for rewards.
